FUNDRAISER FOR CLAY AND HIS FAMILY - every penny spent on bracelets will be given to Ari, Keegan, and Clay to help with expenses.  

Our grandson Clay is our little miracle boy.  Born 2 months early with barely enough lung function to survive and destroyed kidneys due to a condition known as LUTO, he was not supposed to survive.  But survive he did.  He will turn 3 on August 30th but on August 22nd his daddy is donating a kidney to him in what will hopefully turn his life around.  No more 12 hour nightly dialysis and a chance for a more normal life.

Clay suffered a stroke during the 7 months he spent in hospital after he was born and has cerebral palsy because of this.  Which means his development is delayed and he still isn’t walking - but he’s close.  He is fed through a tube into his tummy and he requires multiple therapies to help him.  He is truly blessed to have two wonderful people for his parents and a large extended family who always rally to help.  But we can’t do it all - we’ve been trying!

Ari will be off work at least a month with no pay to care for Clay.  Her husband, Keegan, will also be off and recovering from his own surgery separately- he won’t be able to help.  Denise will be spending at least 2 weeks at the hospital to help Ari and look after Clay.  The costs of Clay’s care so far have been astronomical and even with the good insurance that Keegan has for the family, they have some big numbers on their minds and shoulders.  These bracelets are helping us to alleviate a little of that.

Engraved with Heartbeats and Hope, which comes from Ari finding out her baby was very sick in-vitro but continuing the pregnancy because ‘where there’s a heartbeat, there’s hope’.  His name is discreetly embossed inside.
